Helping parents host parties we’ve learned a thing or two over the 15+ years we’ve been entertaining children. Here we share a few of our tips to help your next kids disco party be as fun and enjoyable for your little people.
- Invite a minimum 15 people to help create a disco atmosphere. A good number of kids present would be anything between 20-30 children.
- The disco works best indoors. If the party is held outdoors, the entertainer and children will need to be in an undercover area and solid ground (not grass) during the program.
- Have a small table ready for your entertainer to set up disco lights and PA system, and an available power point.
- During the program to minimise children from being distracted we suggest avoid serving food at the same time as the disco is running, and avoid having other entertainment on at the same time i.e face painter, jumping castle, toys.
- Push tables and chairs back to provide an open space for the children to dance and move in.
- We suggest parents not to watch the children if they’re 8 years or older as they tend to get shy when there’s an audience.
